FOUNDED A.D. 1978 as the Diocese of the Southwest, an independent Anglican jurisdiction, its long and proud history spreading the word of Christ and carrying out Anglo-Catholic liturgy in faith handed down from the Apostles is continued to this day. Though the jurisdiction is now a Metropolitan See of Christians perpetuating the history of service in its own territory of the Southwest, and seeking ever to engage in mission activity outside of its borders.
