The Rt. Rev. Keith Patrick Steinhurst serves this Metropolitan See as Apostolic Prefect. He was ordained to the transitional Diaconate and Presbyterate, as well as made a Consecrated Abbot, by the Most Rev. Robert Dawe. He was sub-conditionally ordained to the Diaconate and Priesthood at St. Chad's Cathedral Parish by the Rt. Rev. Edwin Caudill, and then consecrated Bishop by the Most Rev. D.E. Chase. He then served as 5th Bishop of the Southwest.

As a US Army Officer (retired) and Department of the Army Civil Servant - the Bishop has extensive, multi-disciplinary academic and professional preparation including the Doctor of Medicine, Master of Education, and Bachelor of Science degrees as well as diplomae from various US Military Schools, US Federal Government Agencies, and other Professional Bodies. Recognized for achievement and meritorious service, his personal awards include: the US Army Meritorious Service Medal; the US Army Commendation Medal; the US Army Medal for Civilian Achievement.

His service decorations include: the National Defense Service Medal; the Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals; and the Reserve Forces Service Medal with "M" device for Mobilization.

 
He holds license as a Professional Sanitarian; Peace Officer; and Peace Officer Instructor in the State of Texas. His Memberships include: Fellow of the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine; Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity; Beta Beta Beta Society; and Solar System Ambassador for the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

The Bishop is married to Her Excellency Alicia Gabriela, Countess Tomasella, Dame of the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Sylvester, Pope and Martyr and has three daughters, the Lady's Grace, Clara, and Giovanna.
