Bishop Elevated to Archbishop
On the Third Winter
Ember Day, 19th December, A.D. 2008, His Grace the Most Reverend D.E.
Chase, Archbishop and Patriarch of the Archdiocese of the Midwest,
elevated the Right Reverend Rutherford Johnson, Bishop of the Southwest, to
Archbishop. The Diocese of the Southwest was re-designated as the
