Another
Threat to Human Dignity:
Planned
Health Care "Reform" a Threat to the Elderly
The United
Kingdom is a great example of what might be coming here in America.
Socialized medicine at its "best." There, if a person is
over 59, they cannot receive heart surgey, for example, because it is
deemed too expensive and not needed. Why is it not needed? Because
they are too old. How would you like your grandmother to die before
God wills it simply because "society" deems she is no
longer of any value? This system is not just in the United Kingdom,
but also in Canada and other places around the world. Socilized
medicine and socialism are moral ills that have been slowly and
silently taking over for several decades.
Obama,
completely abdicating his duty to the people as the President of the
United States, seeks to turn this nation into a land of socialized
medicine. He wishes the government to rule over life and death. He
knows not that God controls life and death, not him. This is not
surprising, as Obama and his supporters have likened him unto the
Messiah. He even had the affront to do this in the presence of the
Cardinal Archbishop of New York.
If
ObamaCare goes forward, then this nation will be socialistic in a
vital area. The United States was founded on the principle of
individual liberty, and Obama now wants to take that away. He does
not realize he is a CEO, so to speak, of a "corporation,"
the US Government, whose responsibility it is to provide an
infrastructure of freedom for the people. He, instead, believes he is
the Ruler of the Americas. This must be opposed by all true
Christians in America, and indeed by all true Americans.
And what
about YOUR lawmakers who are deciding the fate of your parents,
grandparents, and you yourself? They have their own healthcare
package that is not subject to this new law. They will be covered for
all health care needs, even while their contemporaries can't get
necessary surgery because society deems them too old and worthless.
Write to
your Senators. Write to your Congressman. Call and write Obama and
the White House staff (though they appear deaf to anything their
employers, the American people, have to say.) If you don't want the
socialist or communist hell that will be the complete realization of
the Obamanation, then oppose ObamaCare. Do your duty as a citizen,
and above all, do your duty as a Christian.

Presently
religious freedom is under threat in the United States. This is a
basic freedom guaranteed by the Constitution to all American
citizens. Tied with this is freedom of conscience. No person in the
United States should be forced to act against their religious
convictions and the associated moral consicence.
Movements by the
government to remove protections for conscience within the US
Department of Health and Human Services stand to limit, if not
obliterate the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.
If these
protections are removed, then health care workers - doctors, nurses,
and others - may no longer have the right to object to participating
in procedures that are against their faith and go against their
conscience. They may not, for example, continue to be protected for
refusing to participate in an abortion. Abortions, which are contrary
to the law of God, are refused by Christian medical workers all the
time, and they are protected for their choice. This protection may be
removed by the US Government, and the health care workers could be
unfairly stripped of their Constitutional rights.
This causes great
concern that it might be attempted despotism, and that is might be a
move to make the United States of America, founded on Christian
principles, ever more secular and godless. This is what surely is
likely to happen when respect for personal conscience and freedom of
religion is protected. Anything less is government oppression.
No government
should regulate religious matters. How would you like to be regulated
in your religious beliefs by the government? That is what may just
happen to health care workers in the United States very soon.
Please contact the
Department of Health and Human Services in Washington and let them
know that you want these vital protections to remain in place. These
protections are necessary to ensure that the Constitutional rights of
health care workers with respect to freedom of religion are maintained.

groups and their government allies are at it again! The Freedom of
Choice Act is yet another threat to human life in the culture of
death. It gives choice to none. It threatens sanctity of life. Here
are some details about this serious affront to human dignity:
* FOCA eliminates regulations
that protect women from unsafe abortion clinics.
* FOCA forces taxpayers to fund abortions.
* FOCA requires all states to
allow "partial birth" and late-term abortions.
* FOCA subjects women to
abortions by nonphysicians.
* FOCA violates the conscience
rights of nurses, doctors and hospitals.
* FOCA strips parents of their
right to be involved in their minor daughers' abortion decision.

Choice Act gives choices to none, especially not to unborn children.
Write your elected officials and urge that Congress not pass this
radical bill. If it passes, constitutionally sound abortion

powerless to stop it.
